Welcome to Aethera. By creating an account or using aethera.live (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consents to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Aethera is an AI-powered platform that synthesizes nine ancient divination systems — Western astrology (with full natal charts), numerology, Chinese zodiac, Celtic tree astrology, Mayan Tzolkin, Human Design, aura analysis, biorhythms, and moon-phase guidance — into personalized readings, sky maps, dream interpretations, palm readings, tarot spreads, and related cosmic tools. Readings are generated using Swiss Ephemeris (for astronomical calculations) and large language models (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI), and accompanying portrait imagery is generated using FLUX via fal-ai.
Aethera is provided for entertainment, personal growth, and self-reflection only. Readings, sky maps, compatibility scores, and any other content generated by the Service are not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, parenting, or any other form of qualified advice. You should never make a significant life decision — including but not limited to medical treatment, prescriptions, investments, legal action, marriage, divorce, or business agreements — based on a Reading. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional for any matter that materially affects your life, health, finances, or legal status.
Readings are produced by AI models and may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, contradictions, or symbolic content that is not literally true. Astronomical positions are calculated from Swiss Ephemeris and are accurate, but the interpretive text around them is generative and probabilistic. Two identical inputs may produce different output. We make no warranty that any Reading will be accurate, useful, complete, predictive, free of error, or consistent across sessions.
You are responsible for: (a) keeping your account credentials secure; (b) all activity that occurs under your account; (c) the accuracy of the birth data, name, and other information you provide. You agree to notify us immediately at fred@aethera.live if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, with or without notice.
You retain ownership of the personal data you submit (name, birth data, photos, free-text inputs). By submitting it, you grant Aethera a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, transmit, and display that data solely as needed to operate the Service for you. You can request deletion of your data at any time per our Privacy Policy.
Readings, sky maps, and the personal AI portraits ("Cosmic Guide" images) generated for your account are yours to view, save, and share for personal, non-commercial use, including posting to social media. You may not (a) resell or redistribute them as a paid product, (b) train another AI model on them, or (c) claim them as your own original artwork in commercial contexts. The underlying templates, prompts, software, branding, and platform IP remain the property of Aethera.
The Service is currently in beta and offered free of charge. We may, at our discretion and with reasonable notice, introduce paid tiers, subscriptions, or one-time purchases for premium features. When that happens, billing terms will be presented to you at the point of purchase, and continued use of paid features will be subject to those additional terms. Existing free-account data will not be deleted when paid tiers launch.
The Service relies on third-party providers (Firebase Authentication, Google Cloud Firestore, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Hugging Face / fal-ai for image generation, Meta Pixel for analytics). Their availability, terms, and privacy policies are outside our control. Service interruptions caused by these providers may affect Aethera's availability and are not the basis for liability against us.
Portions of Aethera's source code are published at github.com/TheGringo-ai/Aethera under the license stated in that repository. Use of the open-source code is governed by that license, which is independent of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (4, 6, 8, 13, 14, 15) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AETHERA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLES; OR ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON A READING. IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) US$50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aethera, its operators, and affiliates from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to that exclusive jurisdiction and venue. Where required by your local law (e.g., EU/UK consumer protections), nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights you cannot waive.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
